# STAC API

The STAC API is a PgSTAC-backed implementation of the SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog (STAC) standard that catalogs source imagery, prepared Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFFs (COGs), and inference run metadata, providing spatiotemporal search and query endpoints for the imagery lifecycle.
